TECNOACUSTICA ALSO WORKS WITH UNIVERSITIES AND RESEARCH CENTRES

We design anechoic and semi-anechoic chambers (ISO 3745) and reverberation chambers (ISO 3744 – ISO 140 – ISO 354) for different types of structures that deal with the research, innovation and development of products and components.

The test chambers are used to certify and acoustically characterise products bearing the EC mark, which may include:

  • digital readers and fans
  • washing machines and earthmoving machines
  • endothermic and electric motors
  • mechanical components for vehicles
  • extractor hoods for kitchens

ENGINE TESTING ROOMS

The test rooms for endothermic and electric motorscan be prefabricated, or they can be made of masonry.

For the former, a sound booth is made up of a prefabricated load-bearing structure with metal profiles and padding in TECSON type A self-supporting single-absorbent and soundproofing metal panels or similar, in order to limit the diffusion of noise to the outside.

For the latter, on the other hand, a sound-absorbing coating is applied to the surfaces of the walls and ceiling with TECSON type D or similar self-supporting metal panels, in order to limit the internal sound reflection of the room.

To accompany this, soundproof windows, doors and gates are designed, as well as the appropriate forced air and exhaust ventilation systems complete with dissipative silencers.

On request, in addition to compliance with NTC 2018 anti-seismic standards and the final acoustic test, we can also produce the REI fire resistance certification of the booth complete with fixtures and air ventilation systems.
